Higgler – as the name suggests, places you in the market, as if you were an actual higgler. You get access to produce prices, their trends and these prices and trends in different regions. Higgler is an adaptive mobile web app that allows the user to get access to this type of information by using their mobile device to get relevant pricing information about any requested produce item.
It also plots these trends graphically to allow for analysis of price trends over time.
Higgler is socially aware, being that it allows the public to add their own observation of prices straight into the application’s database.

Farmers, and consumers are mostly ignorant to the going prices for produce and how these prices fluctuate over time or in different regions. Access to produce prices and pricing trends is limited to the individuals who do daily interactions in the farmers market.
